Quality replacement style carpet underlay for 1970-81 Camaro and Firebird models. The carpet underlay installs between the carpet and the floor pan. Each set somes complete with 7 separate pieces that are die-cut in the same formation as the original GM underlay for maximum coverage. Was used to eliminate noise and add an extra layer of padded comfort under the floor carpet. Helps protect floor pans from rust and acts as a barrier against outside heat, cold and noise. Each piece is die-stamped to the correct floor pan configuration. We recommend replacing your original underlay when installing a new set of carpet. 7 piece set.
