1957 Chevrolet Classic Update Wiring Harness Set

Designed to make wiring “That Easy”, this Classic Update Wiring Harness set is one of the most complete on the market!

This harness allows you to easily convert to HEI ignition, use modern audio equipment, add power windows or even add AC t o your vehicle. Engineered for specific year, make and model configurations, this harnesse includes all of the original style lamp bulb sockets, connectors, terminals and boasts 19 features, making this the most advanced system of its kind on the market t oday.

Key features:

• Fuse box designed to fit in original location. All required hardware is supplied. New ATO fuse panel allows for easy fuse and circuit breaker accessibility. Standard turn signal flasher, hazard flasher mounted on fus e panel.
• Instrument cluster wiring is designed with a ?cluster harness disconnect? system for easy service and assembly. All original terminals, connectors, and light sockets are also supplied for original cluster gauges. Any aftermarket gauge s ystem can be easily and neatly wired in.
• Engine wiring includes connectors for points type and HEI distributors. Power and tach connectors supplied for GM HEI distributors. Alternator connectors supplied for GM ?SI? series internal regulator alt ernators.
• Replacement headlight switch with internal 30 amp circuit breaker included. Retention collar nut, adjustable length shaft, and custom knob are also included. A new floor dimmer switch provided as well.
• Along with wiring for your original dome/interior lighting, we have also included separate under dash light sockets. Does not include door jamb switches.
• Steering column connectors will plug directly into most aftermarket columns as well as 1961-64 GM columns which u tilize stock GM turn signal switches.
• Rear body harness assembly is designed to plug into the main harness in the original location. Flexibility in harness design allows for original or custom routing. Rear body wiring includes backup light lead wires with correct light sockets, stop and tail light lead wires with correct light sockets, license plate lead wires, and fuel tank sender wire and connection. In addition, a complete pre-assembled trunk lid harness is also included.
