Auto Meter Ultra-Lite Series 2-1/16″ Short Sweep 15-160 OHM Electric Fuel Level Gauge

Auto Meter Ultra-Lite gauges feature aluminum construction that greatly reduces weight while satin anodized Super Bezels and dials with black numbering and increments, perimeter incandescent white lighting and bright red fluorescent pointers make them easy to read.

This fuel gauge reads 15 ohms empty and 160 ohms full.

Important: Before ordering, check to make sure stated resistance range for the gauge matches your sending unit value for proper operation. Measure resistance using an ohmmeter with the sending unit float in the empty and full position to determine the correct fuel gauge. The chart below maybe helpful in determining what resistance range of gauge to use.

  • 0 ohms empty / 30 ohms full for most GM vehicles before 1965
  • 0 ohms empty / 90 ohms full for most GM vehicles1966 to 1997
  • 240 ohms empty / 33 ohms full for uninveral sender part # AM3262
